Description Dominique Leuenberger 2019-01-08 10:05:16 UTC
since recently, gpgme started to fail building - apparently for no wrong-doing on other packages.

From the build log:

[  194s] FAIL!  : TofuInfoTest::testTofuConflict() 'sig.validity() == Signature::Marginal' returned FALSE. ()
[  194s]    Loc: [t-tofuinfo.cpp(458)]
[  194s] PASS   : TofuInfoTest::cleanupTestCase()
[  194s] Totals: 7 passed, 1 failed, 0 skipped, 0 blacklisted, 1200ms
[  194s] ********* Finished testing of TofuInfoTest *********
[  194s] FAIL: t-tofuinfo

I somewhat interpret that as a signature no longer being valid, possibly there was an expiry date of a key or something alike.

Since gpgme (the library) is an essential piece in the stack, please urgently look into the matter to get this building again

Fixed package submitted to tumbleweed :)
Comment 3 Max Lin 2019-01-09 08:38:31 UTC
We've the same problem in Leap 15.1, we need this fix in SLE15 SP1(or via maint. update).
Comment 4 Tomáš Chvátal 2019-01-09 08:47:05 UTC
I've sent an update for that to 15:Update

created request id 181141

Coordinate with maint-coord I suppose as it does not affect the users at all.

I had filed that upstream 10 months ago: https://dev.gnupg.org/T3815
but it had fallen through the cracks.
