Description Paul Henshall 2005-08-23 23:31:53 UTC
On updating from beta1 to beta2, YaST2 tests the internet connection. Because
there is onboard ethernet which is not connected to anything, the internet test
fails, because it cannot get an IP address via DHCP, even though my wireless
connection is up and working.
The work-around for this is to set the ethernet connection to a static IP
address, then setting up the ethernet connection does not fail (even though it
is not connected), and it can go through and find the wireless connection.

Not a YOU bug at all.
Comment 2 Michael Gross 2005-09-12 09:33:06 UTC
Maby this should be fixed. But it is not a YOU-Bug. Reassigning to
mvidner@suse.de, hope that is OK.
