Description Pete Goodall 2005-08-24 13:45:47 UTC
I cannot install gdesklets because it requires a version of cairo that is
incompatible with 151 other packages on my system. I will attach the
conflicts.txt file.

Are you using a YOU source? It looks like you just don't have access to the
rebuilt packages or yast is getting confused because the rev was not bumped on
the rebuilt packages. Cairo bumped the .so number and gtk is linking to that.

I'm using ftp://dist.suse.de/full/full-i386 as my installation source (however,
I did not install from there). Is there a better YOU server to use?

You need to update your complete system. beta2 contains the old cairo, the
installation source the new one - and this just does not work.

Please update to beta3 once it's out.
