Description Thorsten Kukuk 2005-08-24 19:27:57 UTC
I made a fresh installation with Beta3. XFS was choosen as filesystem (worked
fine with SL9.3). When YaST2 reboots, the system does not come up again,
instead I only get: "No Operating System"

With reiserfs it works now, maybe grub has problems with xfs now?
Comment 3 Arvin Schnell 2005-08-25 07:28:48 UTC
Jiri, please have a look if this is a grub or a grub-config problem.
Comment 4 Jiri Srain 2005-08-25 09:09:52 UTC
I guess this is my problem, and I guess I have already fixed it. Checking the
log...
Comment 5 Jiri Srain 2005-08-25 09:14:06 UTC
Yes, my problem. Bootloader was installed into boot sector. But in case of
XFS, there is not enough space in boot sector of the partition.

Fixed in SVN, will go to Beta4.
