Description Christoph Voigt 2005-08-24 22:12:54 UTC
I'm really missing the option to enter authentification details when using the
HTTP Proxy in the netinstall.
Not every HTTP proxy supports anonymous connections :)

Steffen, I think this is something for you.
Comment 2 Steffen Winterfeldt 2005-08-29 14:01:07 UTC
for next release
Comment 3 Steffen Winterfeldt 2005-08-29 14:04:07 UTC
bug 105931 is related
Comment 4 Christoph Voigt 2005-08-29 14:22:25 UTC
suggestion:
in this case, i found the way debian asks for the proxy authentification very
useful ->
http://username:password@ipadress:port
one screen, one string, easy to correct for the user and not that hard to use
code-wise too
same goes for ftp login, but that's a different case
Comment 5 Steffen Winterfeldt 2006-03-24 13:39:50 UTC
not this release

Closing old LATER+REMIND bugs as WONTFIX - if you still plan to work on it, feel free to reopen and set to ASSIGNED.

In case the report saw repeated reopen comments, it's due to bugzilla timing out on the huge request ;(
