You don't have log showing snd-powermac lying around? Should dmasound generally be replaced by snd-powermac? I can try beta2 at home, I'm sure it did show alsa. but yes, dmasound should not be reported, its dmasound_pmac in 2.6 anyway. Created attachment 47645 [details] bug112919.tar.bz2 sound works ok during install, I have to boot into the installed system. after "normal" boot, sound is not found. y2log shows snd-powermac was loaded, but rcalsasound does not start. ok, beta2 did also report dmasound. changed |
