Description Thorsten Kukuk 2005-08-25 12:08:35 UTC
hotplugctl will not be obsoleted by its successor which leads to
update conflicts in YaST2 package manager in some cases.
Comment 1 Stefan Behlert 2005-08-25 12:15:10 UTC
What IS the successor?
I am not sure if this is a suseplugger or hal issue.
Comment 2 Andreas Jaeger 2005-08-26 06:39:43 UTC
Where did you put the functionality? Adding a provides to hal is ok IMO.
Comment 3 Stefan Behlert 2005-08-26 07:57:41 UTC
I have to confess - I didn't do anything there :)
But I think it in Suseplugger now.
Coolo, can you help?

Comment 4 Thorsten Kukuk 2005-08-26 10:17:33 UTC
I added an obsolete to hal.
Comment 5 Ruediger Oertel 2005-09-02 10:47:18 UTC
without the "Provides: hotplugctl" in hal, this does not help at all...
