Think it's duplicate of problem from 102960 or maybe hal isn't running in this case. Hal is running, I have seen the same error here. Reading bug 102960 it looks strongly as a duplicate. AS soon as you have an updated package I can test here. But it seems that these error messages do not only appear during bootup in this case. So please check if hal is really running and if yes, please attach the output of lshal. I get the following error during bootup: udev: run_program: exec of "usr/sbin/hal.hotplug" failed. Just noticed this Aug 27 12:04:37 zeus [powersave]: WARNING (initHal:59) could not init hal library: (null) Andreas, can you test with the next beta if that error is happening again, and if so, please reopen that bug? I am not convinced that it is fixed... No worries .... consider it done ... Error is gone in beta4 |
