Description Jana Jaeger 2005-08-26 12:41:38 UTC
With AppArmor enabled and all profiles loaded that come with SL10.0 (not
modified), I get:

[Mail not sent: SMTP connection went away!]

/var/log/messages reads:
Aug 26 14:38:03 K60 kernel: SubDomain: Control variable 'owlsm' changed to 0
Aug 26 14:38:30 K60 kernel: SubDomain: REJECTING r access to /etc/postfix/dynami
cmaps.cf (smtpd(30885) profile /usr/lib/postfix/smtpd active /usr/lib/postfix/sm
tpd)
Aug 26 14:38:30 K60 kernel: SubDomain: REJECTING x access to /usr/sbin/postdrop
(smtpd(30886) profile /usr/lib/postfix/smtpd active /usr/lib/postfix/smtpd)

Do I really have to train my AppArmor to learn how to allow mail transport or is
there a way to adjust the default profile for this?

This is a bug in beta3. It's been fixed for the next drop. I'll close this when
the next build is dropped.

Jana: TO correct this locally you can run the "Update Profiles" wizard or run
"logprof" as root from the console.

Thanks,
dom
