Description Silviu Marin-Caea 2005-08-26 14:53:35 UTC
At first use it starts the wizard, and seems to proceed normally (I don't use
a wallet password).

But afterwards it doesn't show the icon in the system tray and does not fill
password fields. That's because the kwalletmanager process is not running,
it's not started automatically.

Was broken in beta2 and is still broken on beta3. Clean install, both cases.

does it work if you re-login?

Comment 2 Silviu Marin-Caea 2005-08-29 06:09:36 UTC
No, it never works by itself.

I have started it manually from the konsole and saw that the KDE wallet
subsystem was not even enabled. After enabling it, all works as before, even
after relogin.

So the problem is that the wizard does not enable the wallet subsystem.
