Description Jiri Dluhos 2005-08-26 15:43:51 UTC
It would be nice to be able to have the computer name overlaid over the
screensaver. I believe that users which often work at more than one computer
simultaneously would like it.
Comment 1 Stefan Dirsch 2005-08-26 15:47:45 UTC
I have no idea to whom I should assign this.
Comment 2 Dirk Mueller 2005-08-27 08:23:35 UTC
an overlay is quite hard to implement.. how about just configuring the
text-message screensaver variants to default to $HOSTNAME as text?

Comment 3 Stephan Kulow 2005-08-27 08:29:55 UTC
not sure I like this, but I think about it
Comment 4 Stephan Binner 2006-08-17 11:54:43 UTC
Still thinking about it Coolo? :-)
Comment 5 Stephan Binner 2006-08-17 12:17:39 UTC
Is displaying the computer name in the messagebox which asks you for password sufficient? That would be easy to be implement. Overlaying text over the running screensaver is a WONTFIX.
Comment 6 Jiri Dluhos 2006-08-29 08:35:20 UTC
It is certainly much better than nothing :-)
Comment 7 Stephan Kulow 2006-09-07 12:38:27 UTC
fate entry #301201 now
Comment 8 Stephan Kulow 2008-06-25 09:18:49 UTC
mass reopening all 10.2 LATER+REMIND bugs.
Comment 9 Stephan Kulow 2008-06-25 09:22:53 UTC
close all 10.2 LATER/REMIND bugs as WONTFIX. Reopen yourself if you still plan to work on it.
Comment 10 Stefan Dirsch 2008-06-25 09:26:36 UTC
There is a feature request for this one: FATE #301201
