I have the latest (2.7.3) and it works fine (again). 2.7.0 and 2.7.1 are the two releases which are incompatible with red-carpet. uh. aj? I don't have diffs, but from the NEWS file:
pygtk-2.7.2 02-august-2005
- Subclass/type registration bug fixes (Gustavo)
- Allow gobject to be initialized twice (Yevgen Muntyan)
