Description Forgotten User --EoyBps8f 2005-08-27 08:25:52 UTC
When installing packages from a ftp-source, progress is shown in two tabs, the
bottom one contains the package-names, once with the size that needs to be d/l
and once with the size they need when extraced.
In the top tab, there are columsn for media, size, packages, and time. It
would be noce to have a columen "Download Size", in order to estimate the
amount that has to be d/l. If for example installing big packages, like
kernel-sources, the actual-size and the size of the package differ quite a
bit.

Well evaluate that for future releases.

reopening

This has now become irrelevant with the new progress reporting during RPM installation.
