Ok, seems you got an Atmel device. There was a bug in ifup-wireless preventing the device from working with WEP. I'll attach a newer version of ifup-wireless, please install and test it again. Created attachment 47894 [details]

OK...I'll install that and see what happens...thanks Joechim....new script works like a charm. I installed it and the wlan0 came right up...so that was the problem and it is resolved. I hope that they correct script gets into beta 4...funny that I had no trouble with the OLDER beta 2 but the problem cropped up for me in beta 3. But that was it for sure... I don't know if I have the authority to close this bug out, so can you do that? Thanks Sorry, I spelled your name wrong... No problem. :) And yes, the new script will be in beta4. |
