Description Balazs Melikant 2005-08-28 09:37:57 UTC
The main script, previously installed as '/sbin/chkrootkit', is seemingly
missing from the 'chkrootkit' package.
Because it's missing, one can't comment, that it got patched (as reported
previously) not to use relative, but absolute pathnames for its helper scripts!
This modification would ensure problem-free running e.g. while using the tool
via cron-jobs. (A related, but in fact extra idea would be to add even a weekly
cron-job for running a scan!)
Please, if you modify the spec of this package anyway, take care of the minor
issues listed as #113532 and #113614. Thank you!
