Description r myster 2005-08-28 17:36:16 UTC
After running sax2 from the command line and exiting, instead of returning to a
normal command prompt(i.e. "user@linux:~>"), it changes to
"SaX: \r@linux:~> SaX:-"
where the '\' before r@linux:~> is actually the same spinning line that sax2
uses when it is starting up from a command line. The '-' above can also be '/'
or '\' depending on the moment sax2 exits. The spinning line replaces the entire
username except for the last letter. The spinning action continues and blocks
out entries to the command line but they still work although they are hidden by
the spinning line so the command line is still useable if you can type
everything without seeing the results. Ctrl-C just produces identical lines
with varying positions of the spinning line. Exiting the konsole will stop it.
If sax2 is started in run level 3, logging out and back in is required to stop
the action and return to a normal prompt. I don't know enough to even know this
is a sax2 issue but it is happening on two different systems with different
videocards, motherboards and monitors. It does not seem to affect anything
other than the cmmand prompt.

This was a killproc problem, normally the spinning should stop
automatically. Werner please close this one when fixed. Thanks
