Description James Ogley 2005-08-28 18:24:47 UTC
There are two window lists in the default panel config on GNOME in 10.0 beta 3.
This is probably down to an error in the schemas, will take a look when I have
a bit of time tomorrow, and hopefully have a patch by the end of the day.

Not seeing this here. Was it a clean install or an upgrade (ie you had an old
session in ~).
Comment 3 James Ogley 2005-08-29 09:47:15 UTC
Clean install, and a new user, looking in panel-default-setup.entries.in now and
it only contains one window list.

Just created another new user to test it, and it's behaved correctly - one
window list. [confused now]

Have you seen this issue since?
Comment 5 James Ogley 2005-09-07 13:00:06 UTC
No, don't know what was going on, but seems to be "fixed" ;) (Or INVALID anyway,
since noone else seems to have reported anything similar)

AJ, can we get a swamp ID for this please.
Comment 9 Andreas Jaeger 2005-09-26 08:11:00 UTC
Do you have a fix for this?

Ok Maintenance-Tracker-2374

Just for interest's sake, and since it demonstrates that it's not just me this happens to, a recent Novell Cool Solutions (http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/feature/16249.html) shows this bug in its final screenshot (although it's not mentioned).

Interestingly, the article's about installing on a laptop, and my machine is a laptop, probably coincidence, but thought I'd mention it...

This got dropped on the floor - we believe the problem was caused by some duplication in the default panel setup and a race. We've had no other bugs filed and we fixed the duplication in supplementary and for 10.1, so I think its safe to close this.

I cancel the SWAMP entry
