Run gnome-volume-control from the command line:

(gnome-volume-control:24745): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_drawable_get_colormap:
assertion `GDK_IS_DRAWABLE (drawable)' failed

(gnome-volume-control:24745): Gdk-WARNING **: gdk_window_set_back_pixmap():
pixmap must have a colormap

This happens with the ClearLooks theme

Product SUSE LINUX 10.0, since this uses the same code base.

This is fixed for beta 4 with gtk 2.8.2.
