When disk-space is tight, rebuilding the RPM database fails with two alternating
and repeating error message popups that you can only confirm with "OK". It seems
one pair of popups occors for every block RPM cannot write.
The situation could be improved by allowing an immediate "Abort", or maybe
checking diskspace before rebuilding the RPM database.
