Detailed description: 
Configuration: Suse 10
Build: Beta3 050826
Steps to reproduce:
1. Click on the SUSE icon on the bottom left of the screen.
2. Browse to  "System/Configuration/SUMF.
3. An 'Initialize SCPM' dilaog may appear. Check dialog & click 'Yes'.
3. Click Profiles/Add.
4. Enter an extended characters name for the profile name & click OK.

Expected result: localised text should display correctly
Actual resul: localised characters appear corrupt.

Extended characters that are been entered are appearing corrupt so reassigning 
to yast2-maintainers

Encoding is broken in SUMF, I'll fix that. Besides that it's no good idea to 
use special characters in profile name and description, scpm could get 
confused when loading the database file. I should forbid this in SUMF.

Encoding fixed in RC1.
