Description Marco Michna 2005-08-29 11:49:37 UTC
We have a machine here which has a VIA Technologies, Inc. S3 Unichrome Pro VGA
Adapter (rev 01). During the installation it worked fine but after the
installation was finished we had a totally broken X. To fix this we switched
to console stopped X and used sax2 -m 0=fbdev to reconfigure it (had to be set
to 16bit). After we finished sax2 we got a prompt that looked like sax2
starting up and we noticed that /usr/sbin/dots still is running.

How to reproduce: start sax2 on the command line and go trough the usual
process to set up a graphic card.
