starting mozilla gives tonns of messages like these, which also show up
for every new web page in mozilla:

      (Gecko:7592): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_drawable_get_colormap: assertion
`GDK_IS_DRAWABLE (drawable)' failed
       (Gecko:7592): Gdk-WARNING **: gdk_window_set_back_pixmap(): pixmap must
have a colormap

This is a GTK2.8.0 bug which is fixed with 2.8.1 or 2.8.2.
Beta4 should be fixed.

gtk2.8.2 in BETA4 fixes the issue
