The update on an X86-64 system doesn't work. The Servers are missing the link
from the x86_64 tree to the i386 folder in the update tree.
after downloading to the harddisk and linking the folders the update worked.
On i386 machine it works without any problem.

please provide /var/log/YaST2/y2log after try again (from ftp.suse.com or a 
mirror)

As requested the log. Set the Area to Europe that yast choicse european servers.
FYI I am living in China and around the servers are not that actual with the
updates and patches.
