Does this happen when you run vmware-config.pl in the console, too? Does this happen in a non-Gnome environment? Since the mouse is working, this means the kernel kbd/mouse drivers are not disturbed. Is this a PS/2 or USB keyboard? It happens after vmware-config.pl restarts the modules. I do not know about the Console, I will try on the next beta (I had to go back my backup drive). This happens with the built-in keyboard on a ThinkPad T42p. What's the current status here (10.0 final)? A month in NEEDINFO -> closing as invalid. If you can reproduce on 10.0, please reopen. Closing. |
