Description Neil Sherman 2005-08-29 23:12:49 UTC
I am using a standalone HP Special Edition L2000 notebook.
I am using the KDE window manager.
I log in as root.
I open a Konsole window and run sax2 at the prompt.
The words SaX and animated '/' symbol appear as expected and the SaX2
application starts as expected.
I click the Cancel button in the SaX2 window without making any changes.
SaX2 displays the Exit confirmation window and I click the Yes button.
SaX2 exits as expected however the SaX message with the animated '/' symbol
continues to be animated in the Konsole window.
As a press the Return (Enter) key while in the Konsole window the animated SaX
message follows, appearing on each new line as I press the Return (Enter) key.
If I enter commands (for example 'ls -al') at the prompt, the commands are
properly read and executed. However, when the prompt returns, the animated Sax
message appears with it.

I am fairly new to Linux but will attempt to run any additional test scenarios
that you may need. I can also provide log file contents as required.
