Description Glenn Holmer 2005-08-30 01:48:43 UTC
I followed these steps:

select parallel printer
"Test Printer Connection" outputs "Hello, world" on printer
Select Epson Stylus Color 640 driver
Change page size to "Letter"
Test Graphical Printing with Photo
"An error occurred whiel communicating with the CUPS server while saving queue
y2test.
cups(File)DoRequest error: client-error-not-possible"

The modules lp, parport_pc and parport are loaded.
"rccups status" shows cups as running.

In /var/log/cups/error_log, I see:
E [29/Aug/2005:20:43:57 -0500] add_printer: bad device-uri attribute 'parallel:/
dev/lp0'!
