I have the same problem, however, I am unable to get it to restart properly. Restarting seems to avoid the crash, however, it refuses to display in the applet bar. I am using Suse 10 Beta3, with Gnome. Upgrading from Suse 10 Beta2 to Suse 10 Beta3, netapplet appears to work properly. A fresh install of Beta3, however, and netapplet refuses to work properly. This is the upstream gtk+ issue for null colormaps fixed upstream in gtk 2.8.2, which we are shipping for beta 4. |
