Fixed with Beta4. This still happens on my install of SuSE 10.0 Final. Switching to terminal 1 to monitor boot messages is successful and after that I can switch to other text terminals (alt+arrow keys). But when I tryi to switch back using ctrl+alt+F7 the machine hangs completely and needs to be reset. 05:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV370 5B60 [Radeon X300 (PCIE)] using ATI 8.23.7-x86_64 drivers on a Gigabyte K8N Pro-SLI motherboard running the 2.6.13-15.8-default x86_64 kernel. > 05:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV370 5B60 [Radeon

This bug is about a VIA chip and not ATI Radeon X300!
