Description Matthias Hopf 2005-08-30 12:34:15 UTC
I have another issue with 8.16.20:

XV surfaces seem to have Cb and Cr swapped (i.e. faces are blue, blue
shirts are orange, gray is gray).

This only happens on this 9700Pro, on which XV works fine on Windows, so
it shouldn't be a hardware flaw.
Comment 1 Matthias Hopf 2005-10-12 12:00:01 UTC
Note: this also happens with the open source drivers, so this hardware seems to
be kind of special.
Comment 2 Matthias Hopf 2005-11-29 14:47:11 UTC
Note that this only shows up with xine-ui, neither with mplayer nor with kaffeine.

I really don't understand what xine-ui does differently to kaffeine...

Setting to normal ...
Comment 4 Bob Lewis 2006-06-13 15:57:43 UTC
Does this still persist using the 8.25.18 fglrx driver?
Comment 5 Matthias Hopf 2006-06-13 18:29:16 UTC
Have to get hold of the card again first. Might even be broken.
Comment 6 Stefan Dirsch 2007-01-15 21:32:27 UTC
Matthias, could you retest with a current driver release (8.33.6)?
Comment 7 Stefan Dirsch 2007-03-20 22:14:34 UTC
I doubt that Matthias will ever find the time to test this issue with his old ATI card he no longer uses since a long time. ==> WONTFIX
