Banshee stops playing seemingly randomly (or playlist repeat function doesn't
work). I have 62 songs in the playlist (mp3s) and the shuffle and repeat buttons
pressed - repeat & suffle playback modes active. However, seemingly randomly (on
different songs but after playing maybe 20-30 of them), Banshee simply stops
playing at the end of one song or another, as far as I could follow them,
different songs everytime. I suspect that maybe the repeat function is not
working, and since the shuffle mode is one, it stops randomly at what it
considers being the last song in the playlist. I have removed shuffle mode and
started playing the song before the last, to check if this assumption is alright
(repeat mode is on) and if at last song in playlist, Banshee will stop or not...
uhm... it didn't... restarted from the beginning of the playlist... so maybe
this assumption is not right...

If you notice in the upper window part (I just noticed it myself now), it says:
3:42 of 3:41... somehow it went 1 hundredth of a second past the end of the file
somewhat... could this be the problem? replaying the song to see if this happens
again... nope... moved normally to next song... strange...

Using banshee media player in 10.0 final with helix engine and I don't experience this issue anymore... will try some more with gstreamer and see if the playlist stop happens or not anymore.

You noted that you didn't experience this issue anymore in 10.0 final, and that version is quite a few months old. Can we close this?
