All package of SuSE Linux will never fit onto 1 or 2 CDROMs. We've already a priority and a popularity lists sorted by desktop, network, development, ... and even those packages will not fit onto 1 or 2 CDROMs. You may use the DVD for that. Beside this: To buy the box of SuSE Linux will support the work of the developers here around. Only to say that this will help the people here to get the monthly bucks for eat, drink, clothes, and living. For 10.0 we cannot do anything. I'll take the bug for now. Ubuntu has only one desktop, we have two to support. I try to go down to three CDs. Beta1 will be down to three CDs for default KDE or GNOME in English or German. This is as good as I can get it with all the other requirements we have. |
