Description Wolfgang Frisch 2019-08-21 09:18:50 UTC
CVE-2019-15145

DjVuLibre 3.5.27 allows attackers to cause a denial-of-service attack
(application crash via an out-of-bounds read) by crafting a corrupted JB2 image
file that is mishandled in JB2Dict::JB2Codec::get_direct_context in
libdjvu/JB2Image.h because of a missing zero-bytes check in libdjvu/GBitmap.h.

Comment 1 Wolfgang Frisch 2019-08-21 09:33:54 UTC
Following an investigation of the source code, I conclude that all supported versions of djvulibre are affected:

SUSE:SLE-11:Update
SUSE:SLE-12:Update
SUSE:SLE-15:Update

The patch supplied by upstream applies cleanly to all our versions of djvulibre.
