Description Steffen Winterfeldt 2005-09-01 11:52:55 UTC
Even _if_ I create proper hardware config files, suseplugger informs
me about new hardware. But only for input devices (I believe).
Comment 1 Steffen Winterfeldt 2005-09-01 11:54:07 UTC

Comment 7 Steffen Winterfeldt 2005-09-02 09:45:29 UTC
I have config files for all hal devs in place with configured=no and
suseplugger still pops up its new hardware dialog.

Should this work in RC1 already? Because im getting 'New Hardware found'
messages while mounting drives from Konqueror (media:/).
Comment 12 Stephan Kulow 2005-09-08 15:45:25 UTC
different problem. It should talk about new medium though
Comment 13 Marcel Hilzinger 2005-09-09 07:34:34 UTC
Are you sure? I attached a screenshot. At least in german it tells me about
new disk found.

AND: This window also appears if I mount the partition from command line ;-)
