Description Gernot Payer 2005-09-01 12:12:11 UTC
When starting a new song, amarok resets the pcm volume to some value, it encountered during startup.
However I don't want this program to mess with my settings, when I set a control to a certain level via
kmix, then amarok really shouldn't change this back to some phantasy level.

I just tried but was unable to reproduce this bug on RC1. Btw, which engine are
you using? helix? xine?

Can you please try the latests amarok packages on RC1?
Comment 2 Gernot Payer 2005-09-08 10:47:50 UTC
I used helix. I'll retry with RC1.
Comment 3 Christoph Thiel 2005-09-09 10:49:33 UTC
Alright, you don't have to retry - I just check RC1 and yes, it's still there
(although we use aoss now).
Comment 4 Dirk Mueller 2005-09-13 15:08:07 UTC
its a helix engine bug, right?

Comment 5 Christoph Thiel 2005-09-13 15:09:17 UTC
I'm pretty sure it is ;)
Comment 6 Florent CHANTRET 2005-10-08 10:42:39 UTC
Argh, I've got it too on the final release. The fun stuff is that I didn't
encountered it on RC1.
Comment 7 Stefan Monov 2005-10-24 11:21:22 UTC
I reproduce it with 10.0 final.
Comment 8 Stefan Monov 2005-10-24 11:23:06 UTC
(xine backend)
Comment 9 Dirk Mueller 2006-02-16 12:39:15 UTC
ok, Stefan, please file a separate bugreport about this issue when you have installed the upcoming amarok update.

the helix volume seems to be a duplicate of 143358
