/proc/acpi/thermal_zone/* don't appear although thermal module is loaded (in
initrd).  The proc files appear first after reloading thermal module manually.

Possibly, it's related that the fan control doesn't work well?  When the CPU is
heated, the fan starts running.  But it never stops even after CPU becomes idle.
Reloading thermal module stops the fan, then.

This is the same machine as described in #113099?
Waiting for acpidmp, those bugs are probably related.

Hmm, can I access the machine?

I am quite sure that the errors from #113099 are also the cause why thermal_zone
files do not appear -> duplicate.
