Description Johannes Meixner 2005-09-01 13:51:15 UTC
/usr/share/YaST2/data/printer/printers_support
is the state of Suse Linux 9.0

The most up to date version is here:
~jsmeix/Export/CDBdata.93
http://w3.suse.de/~jsmeix/CDBdata.93

Simply replace /usr/share/YaST2/data/printer/printers_support
with the new version.

For testing you would have to remove /var/lib/YaST2/ppd_db.ycp
so that YaST re-creates its model listing.

Bug is MAJOR because some unsupported models (e.g. several
Lexmark X* models) are missing and it saves the user much
frustration with useles attempts when he gets the immediate
message when his model is not supported.
