It seems I got this bug by mistake. Olaf, please take care about it. are you saying there are firewire devices connected to this card but they do not appear in dmesg (because they are not recognized)? please try ftp.suse.com/pub/people/olh/kernel/bug115118/ Yes, the dvd burner was connected but I could'nt found it. After installing kernel-default-2.6.13-20050905_bug115118.i586.rpm and the other the dvd rom is accessible and the burner is working. Is this bugfix in the next kernel from RC1? thanks for testing. was applied to final kernel. |
