Description Balazs Melikant 2005-09-03 20:46:48 UTC
While navigating through the 'System Notification' sounds preconfigured in KDE's
Control Center, I found, that there are missing files as

KDE_ClockChime.wav
(alias KAudioCreator -> CD finished encoding)

kreversi-click.wav
kreversi-won.wav
(alias KReversi -> Click)
(               -> Game won)

newnews.wav
(alias New Ticker -> There is new news available)

+

The sounds for "KBackgammon" don't give missing file error; they simply don't
get played, until you push Browse and click OK. Seemingly it's needed to correct
the path for these files:
 kbackgammon-lost.wav
 kbackgammon-move.wav
 kbackgammon-roll.wav
 kbackgammon-won.wav

+

KBattleship's mp3s don't work at all. Would be not better to provide .wavs/.oggs
for that particular game?
Not only via KDE's Control Center, but directly under the game there are really
no sounds.
(Yeah, except when it's asked, that maybe I would like to restart the game...)

Stephan, please at least transfer to upstream bugs
Comment 2 Balazs Melikant 2006-10-16 19:50:02 UTC
[Still not existing KDE default sounds] While surfing in the KDE Control Centre's Sound and Multimedia settings, found the following:

KReversi -> kreversi-click.wav (NOT existing!)
            kreversi-won.wav (NOT existing!)
(/opt/kde3/share/apps/kreversi/sounds/reversi-click.wav ?)
(/opt/kde3/share/apps/kreversi/sounds/reversi-won.wav ?)
Please note trailing 'k' in the file-names

KAudioCreator -> KDE_ClockChime.wav
(=KDE_Beep_ClockChime.wav ?)
Please note extra few chars, as 'Beep_' in the middle of the filename.

Both were not fixed and still there in openSUSE 10.2 alpha 4.

Stephan?
Comment 4 Stephan Binner 2007-03-29 15:07:26 UTC
All fixed upstream.
