Description Thiago Sayao 2005-09-04 16:21:15 UTC
The gnome Applications menu on SUSE is too confusing because it has too many
sublevels.. It's often easier to just fire a terminal and start the program from
there.. so the menu becomes useless..
I think its a good idea to just stick with the default gnome menu which has 2
leves.. or just do what ximian did to XD2 and add the "More" submenu..

Thanks

We reduced the levels, see bug 113531.

That patch was pulled. Looking at improvements for 10.1.

Just installed 10.1, still too many sublevels.. Come on, take the ximian menus and ship with it! :) The current menu is just unusable, i had to change it to be able to find something. Thanks.

We'll actually be replacing this with the menuing system from SLED 10 in the near future.
