Description A Nagappan 2005-09-05 06:53:23 UTC
1. Leave machine idle for sometime
2. Gnome screen saver will be started automatically (with default GNOME
installation)
3. Without doing any operation (like moving the mouse or typing some control /
alt keys) just directly start typing the password

Actual result:
Gnome screen saver, ignores the first character and it tries to authenticate
with the rest of letters, which will not match the original password. Because of
this authentication fails. User has to retype the password, when the password
dialog is displayed.

Expected result:
Like other screen savers, gnome screen saver should also accept all the valid
inputs, even though the password dialog window is not in focus.

How often:
Always

This has been working for sometime now in NLD 10. Too minor to fix for SL 10.0.
