Description Christopher Stender 2005-09-05 08:49:36 UTC
Suspend to disk hangs during suspend with beta4.

I get the following messages:

[...]
tg3: eth0: Link is down
Writing data to swap (31816 pages)...
tg3: eth0: Flow controll is off for TX and offer for RX
ata1: command 0x35 timeout, stat 0x50 host_stat 0x24
ata1: command 0x35 timeout, stat 0x50 host_stat 0x24
ata1 ... (repeats all the time)

Any idea?

This is a disk suspend problem.
I thought it was fixed for Beta4, but maybe it's something hardware specific?
-> assigning to axboe...
Comment 4 Jens Axboe 2005-09-05 13:23:57 UTC
Please try a newer kernel from the KOTD archives, it's not fixed in beta4.
Comment 5 Christopher Stender 2005-09-06 06:12:23 UTC
Ah, it's fixed in KOTD-2.6.13-20050904232747.

Thank's a lot.
