Description Heiko Rommel 2005-09-05 11:57:39 UTC
Looking at the interface for configuring "virtual domains" and it's effect on
the configuration files, I guess that the purpose of that interface is to
configure _single_ virtual email addresses, not entire virtual domains.

If so, "virtual domains" should be changed sth like "virtual adresses". In
addition, the syntax of entered addresses should be verified.

If the interface is meant to configure entire virtual domains, I find it not
working. I entered someexisting.domain on the left and suse.de on the right and
these were transferred verbatim to /etc/postfix/virtual (used as virtual_map) -
which I think is not working. For that, you would need virtual_alias_maps.

Hm, okay, the help text needs expanding. And input validation too.
The confusion probably dates back to sendmail times.
