Description peter czanik 2005-09-05 13:24:55 UTC
Open-xchange login gives an empty page. I guess, it's something with mod_jk, at
least, it gives plenty of error messages. I will attach the logs.

Comment 2 Ralf Haferkamp 2005-09-07 16:18:15 UTC
I could see anything obviously wrong in the logs. Addtionally for me the
login is working pretty well.
Could please check the following other logs (and attach them):

/var/log/apache2/error_log
/var/lib/open-xchange/log/*

Please also make sure that you have "java.net.preferIPv4Stack=true"
in /etc/tomcat5/base/catalina.properties IIRC I once hat a similar problem
and "java.net.preferIPv4Stack=true" fixed it for me.
Comment 3 Ralf Haferkamp 2005-09-07 16:32:18 UTC
I wanted to say: "I could NOT see anything obviously wrong in the logs" of
course. Sorry for the confusion.
Comment 4 peter czanik 2005-09-08 15:24:54 UTC
Ooops, too late. It's overwriten with RC1. I will try to install OX again, when
my local mirror is ready (probably the weekend), and can install things not on CD.
I leave it NEEDINFO now.

Any news on this?

Comment 7 peter czanik 2005-11-10 13:49:58 UTC
Sorry for the long delay, I had another testing focus for a while (openSUSE PPC).

I still couldn't get it to work. Seems, that it has problem with the e-mail part (the first slapd error seems to be around imap), something I don't even inted to use (all future groupware users have already mailboxes elsewhere).

The simptomes are the same, an empty page.

BTW: there is also a documentation problem: You can not run "dbinit_ox" before running the 'ln -s' commands on ldap.conf.
