Description Marius Tomaschewski 2005-09-06 15:58:31 UTC
The current library verion handling may cause compatibility
problems later, since it allows to say, that a library
contains changes to its binary interface by changing the
major number only.

See http://w3.suse.de/~mt/limal-versions.txt for more info.
Comment 1 Marius Tomaschewski 2005-09-06 16:00:49 UTC
The new one allows to specify a range of compatible minor
versions.

Comment 3 Marius Tomaschewski 2005-09-06 16:43:37 UTC
Fixed - all concerned packages are submitted to STABLE now,
in particular: limal, limal-devtools, limal-bootloader.

Adreas: If you don't like it, let us know :-)
Comment 4 Andreas Jaeger 2005-09-06 18:08:13 UTC
If this does not break existing stuff, it can go in. Will review the packages.
Comment 5 Marius Tomaschewski 2005-09-06 18:40:34 UTC
No, it shouldn't.
