Description Steffen Winterfeldt 2005-09-07 10:31:16 UTC
I just had to correct the time manually again. ntpd is running all the time,
but apparently it does not work.
Comment 1 Hendrik Vogelsang 2005-09-07 10:43:12 UTC
Cool. Would you mind telling me some details???
Comment 2 Steffen Winterfeldt 2005-09-07 11:41:34 UTC
Hm, no idea. Using ntp1 the time was off by 6s this morning. That's all
I know. You can look at ligeti.
Comment 3 Hendrik Vogelsang 2005-09-07 12:03:07 UTC
off from what reference clock? ntp1?
Comment 4 Steffen Winterfeldt 2005-09-07 12:33:54 UTC
Yes, ntp1.
Comment 5 Hendrik Vogelsang 2005-09-07 13:45:32 UTC
ntp1 resolves to ipv6 but ntp1 isnt reachable by ipv6 from your machine.

nc6 2001:780:101:0:211:25ff:fe29:cc40 123
nc6: unable to connect to address 2001:780:101:0:211:25ff:fe29:cc40, service 123

use ipv4 adresses instead of hostnames when the host isnt reachable by ipv6
