If you manually mount a partition a kde pop-up "New Hard Disc Detected" will
appear. I'm not sure if this is the wanted behavior.

Just try to mount a partition (mount /dev/bla /mn/ ) which is not already
mounted.

please try mbuild portia-coolo-17
Comment 2 Martin Lasarsch 2005-09-09 10:21:06 UTC
works for me on 2 systems, no pop-up

btw: this also changed some icons, like the kde-menue, back to kde default(?)
Comment 3 Stephan Kulow 2005-09-09 10:48:54 UTC
good. icons are different topic
Comment 4 Stephan Kulow 2005-09-13 12:46:14 UTC
ok, that caused a much bigger regression, so I disabled it again. But I now
ignore all mount points not under /media, which should be fine for most
people.
