I'm backporting the patch now but I found other build failures which are addressed here:
    https://dev.gnupg.org/T4831

I don't know when the next version will be released, I think it would take from 2 to 4 months.

Tested in --alternative-project=openSUSE:Factory:Staging:M standard for both i586 and x86_64.
