Please provide the yast-logs of your installation and tell us what mouse exactly you have (hwinfo --mouse). Attach both outputs. You might read: http://www.opensuse.org/Bug_Reporting_FAQ#YaST Raising severity to critical. Created attachment 49437 [details]

The automatic creation of /etc/sysconfig/mouse on that system did work with SuSE 9.3, SaX has no problems with that mouse, too. Sorry , I will not be able to any more information for the next two weeks, because I'm on holidays. Created attachment 49444 [details]

with SuSE Linux 10.0 the GPM mouse configuration is no longer done automatically. If you want to configure the mouse for the textconsole call yast mouse *** Bug 141019 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** «with SuSE Linux 10.0 the GPM mouse configuration is no longer done automatically.» Is there any reason why it is now done that way? |
