This is a meta bug to track the changes required to update Guile to 3.0.

Following SRs are required to let packages build with 2.2, who are not compatible with 3.0 yet:
trackballs https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/765700
GNOME:Factory/aisleriot to Factory
autogen https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/765435 and then Factory
gnucash https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/765453 and then Factory

Following SRs are required to let packages build with 3.0:
guile-cairo
guile-json
guile-newt https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/765846
guile-parted

For the guile package itself needs to be done:
guile: submit the update to Factory
guile2.2: create as new package in Factory

autogen supports Guile 3.0 already on upstream, SR to Factory:

guix is still not ready for Guile 3.0. The next upstream release, hopefully before FOSDEM, should bring 3.0 support.

There is already a SR for Guile 3.0 to Factory, but we should wait some days:

Guile 3.0 is in Tumbleweed since May this year. See (https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/800453).
