Who had accepted the appointment? Did you add the other attendees by selecting them from the addressbook or free text entry? If you can reproduce this bug, please can you obtain a debug trace of you adding the appointment and the server's response. You are looking for createItemRequest and createItemResponse in the output - use Edit->Find in History if using Konsole). The method for getting debug is here http://www.opensuse.org/Bugs:KontactGroupWise . This appears to only be happening with events that are sent out to mulitple people: See https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=116152 The only way I can duplicate this is to enter an addressee email address that isn't in the groupwise addressbook. For example, if the groupwise addressbook resource isn't configured or is turned off, kontact can't look up the addressee's UID and include it in the request to create the event on the server. In this case the server appears to silently ignore the request. I am pursuing this with the server team. Can you double check that you were on the attendee list for this appointment? (In reply to comment #5) > Can you double check that you were on the attendee list for this appointment? Yeah, I just double checked and I am on the attendee list. This time it let me in the the appointment and then after sitting in the appoitment for a few seconds it crashed. Joe, can you try to reproduce this under the following conditions: 0) (I am a coder) Use a 10.1 beta. 1) Make sure the groupwise system addressbook is loaded. 2) Add yourself and the other attendees in one go using the Select Addressee button. Don't click the New button. When you are done you should have yourself and the others all listed as Participants. TIA Will I am running NLD 10 beta 5. Since it is the same code base I decided to use it because I am having other issues with my SUSE Linux 10.1 build. Anyway, I went in to test this issue and the groupwise address book is no longer working. The groupwise calendar is working, but not the address book. Will, I was able to get the address book working again, and it appears that this one is fixed with the latest code. I am fine with closing it now. |
